Researchers

A better way to keep up with the latest literature

As a seasoned researcher you know the chores of subscribing to TOC newsletters and checking out the preprint servers. Depending on your filed you'd better do this daily or at least weekly.

Once you slack off, there is almost no getting back on top of the game. Too large is the daily flood of newly published research. And its not going to get easier, in fact all trends show that in the future even more will be published. Every. Single. Day.

Reading through all the newly published science is very time consuming. Occasionally you find an important new contribution to your field. But most of the time, this is time not spend doing writing, experiments or thinking about your own ideas.

POIA Science helps you filtering through the daily stream of new research and frees up your time!

For each of your project, you can upload a couple of papers which stake of that particular area of research. For best results use your own papers as a starting point.

POIA Science, your new virtual research assistant, will suggest you at first a bunch of papers which might be relevant to your area. In an iterative process you will teach the assistant which papers are part of your area and which are outside of it.

Our custom machine learning models will figure out in the background what ideas are at the core of your particular research area. As well as how narrow you personally want to focus on a particular project.

Once you are happy with the performance of your new assistant. It can be left alone to perform its new duties. Every day the virtual research assistant will read through any newly published articles and preprints and make a judgment whether it is of personal relevance for you. You can periodically check what has been found in the webapp or get notified via email.

With POIA Science you won't miss out on any of the latest developments in your area of research, without having to read through every abstract on every single day. Leaving you with more time to do actual research!
